stone chips

Every time I take my car out I get loads of stone chips in paint does any one use that film ti protect the paint work

Do you mean on the rear wheel arches mate. Most 7's have either metal or moulded plastic stuck on them to avoid this.
If not stick a picture up of the area where you get it a lot.  :)

I just replaced my stainless steel ones on the Hood, they were about £20 odd quid on Ebay.

Another thing that that causes stone chips is the length of the front cycle wing.....a lot are to short leaving the back of the
tyre not covered thus throwing up stones.   Mine are Westfield wings....32" tip to bottom of the front wings.

I get it on the front cone and sides. I have seen there is film you can put on.

Your the first person I have heard off with this problem with the front nose cone, I know you can geyy these films for the front of your cars but don't know of anyone who has used them sorry.  :)

The only way you could get stone chips on your nose cone is by driving up the ass of stone lorries I would think or a lot
of motorway driving???? ::) ::) ::)

3M do some paint protection film. Bit fiddly to apply but it does work well.
