Avenue Drivers Club Sun 14 Jul - Guaranteed Dry (sort of)

Next Sunday is predicted to be right in the middle of a dry spell which means that there should be a great turnout for the monthly Avenue Drivers Club at Queen Square.

One of the last good days (before "summer") saw 3.5 sides of Queen Square full of great cars so this should be well worth a visit.

So who's up for it?  I'm coming from North Bristol if anyone wants a bit of a convoy down.  Lets make the most of the Indian Summer (all 7 days of it)!

Are there any meets en-route planned? We will be going from Burton then over M4 J18 on the A46, along the A420 then A4174 and A4. (I hate motorways!), could meet you on the way down Steve if you like?

We were thinking of trying to get there for 9am, not sure when everyone else gets there?

No meets beforehand planned that I know of although if you're coming down from Gloucester i'm about 20mins south of J14 (Coalpit Heath) so we could meet somewhere north of Bristol and head in?

If you do end up making your own way then just head to Queen Square in town, find a space and enjoy.  I'll probably be aiming for 9am as well.

What a turn out , so many club members, didn't know which way to turn

it gave me the inspiation to start cleaning the cars

My lad really enjoyed it. He even had a chat with an old feller on his mobility ped with flip paint  Was telling the story behind why he had a custom paint job. Topclass old feller. I tae my hat off to him.

Great morning, great turnout. Shame we weren't all parked together and sorry I didn't catch up with everyone. I did however feel like royalty being waved at by loads of people as I drove round the square looking for a space haha.

I organised an Abarth meet and had 10 cars show up, it was a busy social morning.

This was my first time here (unless you count the time when I got the wrong day and was sat there with just Colin and Pete) and I wasn't disappointed!
