It's like a crash helmet with wheels ;D. How about swapping out the engine with a fire blade or something?

Agreed 8) Very well designed. If I had one just criticism, it could have had just a few extra inches in the cockpit area.. Ooh err Missus ;D

Brakes are crap though Phil!!!! Was your's running the standard Manta calipers?

'The Gaffer'

No, from memory I think the car had 'Hi-Spec' upgrades with front and back bias control. Stopped well, probably too powerful at times.

I didn't have anything fancy on Ratbag, just standard Cortina disc and calipers yet it would almost stand on it's nose under heavy braking. I flushed the fluid out twice a year and refilled(dot4), kept the rear shoes adjusted up at the hubs, then adjusted the cable to 3 clicks. Held the footbrake on overnight with a prop, all bleeders closed and cap on. Worked everytime. ;) Pedal felt good and confident and on test would stop pretty quickly from 70 mph in a straight line.

I reckon a good brake service is on the books. Will get our man Chamber-Dave to look at it. He's got the tools and the space :)

Well last week Dave C had the Cyclone. Replaced all the pads. Freed up two caliper sliders. Fresh fluid.. AWESOME, I now have brakes... Car is going great. I have powder coated a couple of things but not gone mad!!! Yet :)

GOt the Cyclone back from DAve yesterday.. Got him to strip the front end down so I could powder coated the wishbones, spring and cycle guard brackets :)

Looking a treat :D. Are you going to do anything with the lights?

fullpint

Trouble is they are effective in the dark!!! It did come with a spare set. I think James purchased them but no one has got round to fitting them... They are a lot smaller than the current ones.
