Title: Coleford Carnival of Transport.
Post by: Moleman on 28, January, 2016, 09:02:42 PM
Following a comment from one of our members I have had a quick look at this one which is being held on Bank Holiday Monday 28th March.

Have a look & tell me what you think. = http://www.colefordcarnivaloftransport.co.uk/

The good thing about this one is that if it is a nice day the roads going to it are going to be great to drive along.  8)

So who is up for this & I will do a club form.  :)

Well that looks pretty good and as it is street based it is so much better than parking in a muddy field.  And as you say that is a pretty good route up there!

Looks good, but this may be a problem :(

All exhibitors must have their vehicles in place by
9.30am; if you arrive late entrance to the event cannot be guaranteed.

For safety exhibitors MUST NOT MOVE THEIR VEHICLES BEFORE 4:00pm.
Do not enter if this is not possible.

Will be there, as been at this event for around the last 10 years with several of the rally cars we have had...

Great event, and as already mentioned, the centre of Coleford is closed off completely.

Wide range of cars, lorries, bikes and as we are in the country, tractors  :D

Worth a visit

I was planning on maybe taking a drive up to this but now I will be in the garage but if anyone is interested I think it could be a good idea for a nice drive up along some nice roads just as spectator so your not restricted to stay all day.
Anyone want to go to this weather permitting?
