As I am getting too old and lazy even for lazy tongs I'm thinking of getting an air powered rivet gun, problem is how much to spend, prices seem to range from 30 to 300 quid. It won't be in continuous use - once every new build probably.
There are also models with the pneumatic cylinder inline or at 90 deg - is one better than the other?
Any advice?
I've got a similar air gun to the clarke cat73 and it works a treat and not to expensive
I am going to suggest a cheaper item is best due to your lower utilisation. What is important is that the pins releases from the collet easily or you will spend more time clearing it than using it.

Thanks for the feedback guys, now I have to decide what the next build will be - maybe a Sonic 7?
