A bit too advanced for me at this stage Paul. I plan to do some UK track days in 2016 and find my feet a bit 1st.

I have taken the liberty of putting a link up for you though. If it is incorrect please let me know!

All the best with it Crunchie

I hoping to go to Spa in 2016.  I'm tempted with the LoT event but that end of the week is difficult for me (but could work).  Ideally a weekend or something in the first half of the week.

There are also these events...

I'm keen to go to Spa as well next year, but I won't be able to get away until mid July at the earliest so I might miss out :(

I'm very keen for this. I am thinking September might be better for me though.  :)

If you're going to do Spa, I'd recommend RMA.  Graham runs a great day (less rules - ie: overtaking on either side and through bends as long as you're approved by his instructors).  Although more expensive, there's less cars on the day and less fluff.

Cheers Adrian

I agree with Adrian, RMA seem to run a great day. I was lucky enough to be invited by Dino for some passenger laps in his race car at Silverstone, and the day was run by RMA with a big variation in cars from full race to hot hatches and it worked very well, but with overtaking on both sides it's probably not ideal for novices. I would have thought if we're going all the way to Belgium, it's probably well worth the extra cost.

The experience of going round the full GP circuit in the wet was absolutely stunning, and we were quite easily passing Blancpain endurance Ferarri's round the outside of bends on the grippy stuff, and he was getting it sideways most of the time just for fun. The GT Marques team had run the day to thank their sponsors and customers (they specialise in GT3's) and had simply bolted a seat in the race car, so you had to perch your feet on a load of electronic gear on the floor. The one thing I remember about it all was the fantastic noise the thing made - stunning 8)

I had a second ride, with Dino driving his team mates car at the end of the day as he had destroyed the tyres on his own car.

The description of the video below is self explanatory, but it gives a great perspective of Spa from the helmet cam, and yes we have taken the piss about the lift at Eau Rouge, oh and you'll see what I mean about the noise it makes 8)

Epic video Ed - GT3 is the best tin top track day car.

I will drive out as Nash is trailering and so we have a lift if the worst happens.

I have done a few RMA trackdays and they are fine.  I have done a few LOT days and they organise a good day too.  I am doing their French Frolic which is meant to be a great trip.

Nice video Ed. I think I will finally find out the top speed of my car judging how long some of though's straights are.  :o
