Title: British Sports Cup Prototype Motor Racing TV Show - Motors TV channel
Post by: Facial Hair Optional on 30, December, 2015, 07:54:50 PM
Recently on another thread various members were discussing lap practice via simulators - I'm pretty sure it was Sanzomat and Crunchie Gears - Dave and Paul. You guys may find this interesting. It seems to be a sim show competition of some kind.

Round 1 was Donnington, it has already been on but is repeated again twice this Friday (New Years Day)

Round 2 is Castle Combe!!! It is on every day from Tuesday the 5th to Friday the 8th at various times (see you listings as they say!).

Both on Motors TV Virgin channel 545

I can't wait to see how realistic the Combe one is!  :)

If it is realistic then:

Your head will dance in the wind, your jacket will flap, the tail end will twitch under power, real fear will emerge at Quarry, bits of rubber will hit you in the face and the air will be misted with oil, on braking you will feel the pull of your harness and your neck will jerk violently on the corners, when you hit the barriers an ambulance will come out and you wont be able to press reset.

Then it is realistic!

You forget to mention having to dodge cones strewn randomly all over the track after following Colin around!!  :-*
