@ ASN - £300 is a bit steep you can get a second hand windscreen in any scrap yard if i was you i would check your local scrap yard first before id pay £300  i had to get my window cut at both sides about 20mm off each side the glass cutter broke my first windscreen well cracked it so i had to get a second windscreen i was able to get them for 50 euro a piece.

The model you will need to get them off is a Nissan Maxima 99 - 01 Model if i was you i would try get two of them if you can i as a spare just in case it cracks like what happened to me. keep me posted if you need a hand

looking good quick question how are you cutting the lines with the filler so strait in some of your old post on the bat wings and lid do have a special tool that cuts strait and is it a special spray for the high and low points or just normal spray and sand a bit which then shows the low points
also peggy and anyone else are you going to this http://www.nationalkitcarshow.co.uk/ i would love to meet you at it on the sunday me and my lass are staying in a posh hotel near should be a good event

Peggyontherun

@ ASN - i mark out what i have to cut and cut the straight lines with a skinny cutting disc you need a steady hand for it but it does the job and then just spray a bit of spray paint over the areas and block sand it the low points will have paint left on it so these need to be re-fillered and the process go on and on. No i wont make Stoneligh i think it is but if i change my mind i will be in contact with you

Peggyontherun

I missed a trick with those roof LEDs. Gaffer, get round mine to help me fit some!!!

When I'm back from Crete. Saturday.

Peggyontherun

Picked the roof scoop up today

The LED's all fiberglassed down

Second layer of fiberglass this layer will pin down the roof scoop

Loads of bumps looks like a gold course :-) these will be sorted

I used filler in the low spots to level the area out then sand this back then re-fiberglass the whole roof

fullpint

You are making a lot of progress mate  8) And it that a bike I see under the stairs....

Moleman

I have found that the bumps happen due to using too much resin on the cloth in one go & when it starts to go off it will shrink causing the cloth to be compressed then causing the air bubbles.
Try not to use to much resin & use a roller to spread it more evenly.
Hope you don't mind me saying so? I've never been shown how to do it but it's just how I've found it seems to work better for me & I hope this helps you?
If you don't get on doing it that way then no worrys as we all find different ways of doing the same thing the way that suits us best.  :)

Peggyontherun

@ fullpint - cheers mate yip ita honda i think my friend own it he stores it there as he has no where to store it its for sale as far as i know cheap bike 700 euro

@ moleman - cheers for the help am heading out now to wok on it so i will use a roller on and see how i get on

Moleman
