I may go ... not sure whether it will be Saturday or Sunday just yet.

For car 'bits and pieces' I reckon last year was it was as good as the Exeter Kitcar show with many of the same exhibitor, obvioulsy without the kitcar manufactures.

I think saturday might be better.......weather forcast for Sunday is heavy rain. :(

Give me a PM if you are going.

The Bristol Classic Car Show is not until 16/17 April.
It is The Great Western Autojumble at Shepton Mallet this weekend 12/13 February.
Still, both good events.

What's in a name......its still an Autojumble!! :P

Stupott and myself are going on SATURDAY, ie tomorrow.....should be good weather.       Anyone else want to join us??

I went to the Bath & West Auto Jumble this morning. Saw Paintman (Tony) & Stupott who both took their kitcars.
It was a pleasant morning. There is one hall full of tools & autojumble stuff and one hall with Classis Car and autojumble bits. It was smaller than the Classic Car show that we went to last year with 2 hall as opposed to the 3 at the Classic Car show.
Entrance is £7 on the door and £6 if you pre-purchase.

Nice day out!!

Stupott actually got there without breaking down......third time lucky!! ;D

Some nice cars there including a few kit cars, met a few guys I know including one with a fully chromed up Escort Cosworth pushing out 560 bhp no less!.......185 mph top speed :o :o

Had to settle for Cornish pasties today thou......makes a change from a fry up!! ;D

I shall be going to the Bristol Italian festival on the Sat. so I might have had enough of cars by then to want to go to another show on the Sun.   but I dont think a meeting place has been sorted for the Bristol classic show, but Im sure you will see some of the club when you get there.

[/quote]   What, like smelly coal fires ( fog thick as pea soup ) linoleum on the floors, no central heating, no double glazing, (ice on the insides of the windows) And in the really early days of my boyhood. Outside loo s, horse sh-t all over the roads, gas street lighting ( they were handy for lighting your fags, but first you had to climb them ) NO THANKS Ill put up with a few zebras and much to high road tax and petrol and all the other things that p-ss us off these days. Lets not go back to the good all days

Krazyken

Can't remember those days myself as I was only born in 1963, but my Great Grandad used to tell me all about them when he was alive!!

I was going over to the Bath & West Classic Car Show this morning (Saturday).

If you buy online before you leave and use the following offer code you appear to be able to purchase tickets for £6.50 for the day..... the code is:    club32
I found the code on the internet so use at your own risk and no garantees for me.

You can purchase tickets at:  http://www.bccsl.co.uk/tickets.asp

Went to the Classic Car Show, bigger than last year with two additional large marques. I quite enjoyed it, lots of cars on display and lots of tools and bits for sale.

Sumov8

Was very impressed with the size of the show on Saturday, far bigger than I have seen there in previous years.

Quite a few cars on show out the back which is why I cannot see how the organisers charge them to get in
I get the feeling the show would be even bigger if they followed some kit car shows and let the driver in for free.

Still Alan spent a shed load and its always nice to watch someone else spend money   ;D ;D
