Certainly glad we chose the Sunday! Good turnout of BKCC cars :) Whose was the Tiger with the paw prints all over the bonnet? It looks like one a guy from Swindon used to have. I got some magazines of him and he was selling it at the time, that was a couple of years ago at least.

Nice show but would have been so much better in the Locost :(

Still, won't be long now I hope :)

Hi Yellabelly
That was my Tiger.  You are right I bought it from Milson in Swindon just over 3 years ago, really nice bloke and a good build.  I looked for a long time for a car and it just seemed right.  I was going to take the stickers off but the kids like them, so they have stayed.
Sorry I left early and did not get a chance to chat to everyone, needed to get back for a family meal - balancing all interests!!  Hopefully meet up at one of the other events soon.

Regards, Steve.

A great turnout from the BKCC on Sunday.  Nice to see the stand full of cars  :)

Well, I set off early on Monday only to find on shutting and looking my front door the key remained trapped in the lock :( >:( so after many hours of faffing around getting the lock off and trying to find a New one on a bank holiday Monday I managed to get going again. Needless to say I was very late with only one car left on the stand.

Ah well, I still managed a quick look around and have a chat with a few people.

The journey was on the way to the Curborough sprint event which I am doing today so all was not lost.

Sorry I didn't manage to catch up with anybody and it was a real shame the weather wad so bad on Monday.

There,s always next year I suppose.

YellaBelly

Hi Steve, I knew I was right! :D Couldn't be 2 like that! Yep, decent bloke and I bet he was gutted to see it go. And DO NOT take the stickers off, that's what makes it. People are always making good comments about that car ;)

Maybe catch-up at the Sunday club meet?

Thanks for those kind words about the car.  Is there a meet this weekend?  Is that the Avenue Drivers meeting or at the Riverside.  I am up in Gloucester but weather and family permitting would like to make some of the meetings this year.

Nice pics guys......glad you all had a good time and stayed dry! ;D

Grin-a-lot

It was indeed a great show, as a Stoneleigh virgin it was definitely worth the trip.  My resident financial adviser even managed to stop my wallet leaping out of my pocket to buy a number of cars and lots of other nice things.

I've only got a couple of photos but I'll put them up when I get back home.  That includes the BKCC entertainment: Brian, Anna, a tent and the incredible asthmatic sounding air bed pump...

Hairy Santa

was a good weekend break , just a shame it rained at 11 on the Monday Morning

Thanks to Bri and Anna for the use of their spare bedroom

I did have luck finding the pair of polished Race cats I wanted and got them for a brill price, so well chuffed  :D

Glad we had a fire on the go, all six of us huddled around it, red hot front and freezing backs - good fun though

think Ken and Dave had a grand time in the Gay B and B they stayed in  - although not a lot said about it in the morning  ;)

roll on next year

Glad that new members had a good time on the club stand. I'm sure you were made to be most welcome :)

Bulldog Bri

Thought I'd put this up, The repair tape I got at Stoneleigh sealed and held my Hydrulic Clutch pipe very well for the run home.

On the way up I  had a small problem with my clutch pipe, it's a nylon pipe and runs very close to the exhust manifold and at some point managed to touch melting a small pinprick of a hole in the pipe  :'( (only halfway to Stoneleigh) so a cable tie to hold it away and a top up of fluid kept me going whilst trying not to use my clutch as much as poss'. I came home on the Motorways for ease of driving.

YellaBelly

I wondered if that stuff was going to hold Bri. Gald it did, don't forget the make then :)

JB

Bulldog Bri

Yeah, me too. It's only temp' but will do till I can find a replacement.

The gay B&B had information leaflet that stated "Kenilworth, the most romantic town in Middle England"

Enough said!  ;)
