Just a thought, the route would have normally gone to Frenchay lights and turned right up through Hambrook, along the Old Gloucester Road, then up into Bradley Stoke.

Problem now is Frenchay lights are a mess so I'm proposing to carry on up to Abbey Wood turn right at Sainsburys through Stoke Gifford and in that way. Everyone clear on that?  ;D

Still leaving the Willy Wicket pub at 11:30 anyone can join in at the back on route if they wish. ;)

I will be at the willy wicket mate. Even though I live next to Sainsburys.   :)  Where exactly is it being held mate?  :)

Nice day and good company..... and the Burgers were better than usual.

The meeting point with a good turnout.

The Bradley Stoke Carnival...

A very nice car ....

Bulldog Bri

Another good day out with the club, and what a turn out. After leading a convoy (again) of roughly 20 cars including 7 cars from the Stag owners club, form the meeting place up to Bradley Stoke and only losing Pete for a while (as far as I know) I think it went Ok ::)

Once there, quickly sorted out who was parking where, kits on one side and the Stags on the other seemed to work well.

Then it was suggested a BKCC challenge on the Dodgem's

Unfortunately the scantily clad girls were double booked for the day and didn't turn up, so Wallnut stayed in his car

So was the Stag club turning up with us at the Willey Wicket Pub planned, or just a coincident? Nice company.

It was nice to catch up with some of the guys here, and a good afternoon, well apart from the showers filling my seat  ::)

'The Gaffer'

Good to catch up with everybody again and in a kit this time. The day went well apart a couple of heavy downpours, don't know how I managed to miss the BKCC dodgem challenge though :(

Meeting up

At the carnival

Having an easy to fit roof was a bonus.

Anybody know what happened to Casino in his Royale? He was at the meet point but not at the carnival.

The noise that people were listening to from my engine turned out to be the water pump ::)

Daley Down Under

Good turn out there chaps - looking mighty fine  :D

Cheers Adrian

Casino (Peter) said he was leaving early due to other commitments. He did turn up for a short while at the carnival.

I also hear that Peter went to the Redhill breakfast this morning.... someone in our village said there was a blue Royale at the breakfast to which I said "I know who that is" .... so news travels fast.

Sadly a story that did go unnoticed was that fact that Alan (almondsburyhills) wanted a ride in the vintage bus but the driver in the cream hat didn't move all day. So Pilgrim Anna stepped in got him out but was unable to start the bus.  :'(  We shall have to have a word with the bus company for you Alan.  :P  :P  :P

WALNUT

Ha Ha I woundered what you were on about, until I enlarged the pic

Almondsburyhills
