Me and my brother have been converting a tiger cat E1 from a Pinto engine to Honda S 2000 this has taken quite a while the engine should be well in excess 350 bhp and everything on the drivetrain has been replaced including  quaif gearbox now has a quaif atb diff new drive shafts 4 pot disc brakes all-round I know some people think you can't get an S2000 engine into a cat E1 because of inboard suspension but it certainly can be done all this car needs now is and ECU we will be taking the car to longlife at Thornbury for the exhaust and next door is a place that can fit a ECU and tune it on a rolling road hopefully this car be ready for track days next year.

Wow, looks amazing!

I love those F20c engines.  Bit of a squeeze into a seven type car as they're tall engines but your installation looks great.  Do you have a dry sump fitted?  Also, what mods have you done to achieve that power level?

Great work!

The engine came from a rally specialist already done it has 50 mm throttle bodies a light weight twin plate clutch we were toying with the idea of putting a dry sump on that there is so much stuff on this car is not a lot of room for all the oil tank and oil pump but it might be a consideration for the future the sump is up off the floor quite well like you said it is a tall engine and quite a few modifications had to be done to the bonnet this was all done by Matt Peel ie peel,s Motorkraft
it does seem like a lot of horsepower whether this is achieved not we will soon find out on a rolling road either way it's still going to be very twitchy

A very nice install and very tight fit. I just wish I could do such a neat job.

'The Gaffer'

Nice job, look forward to seeing it on track next year :)

Krazyken

Nice install, lots of power for such a light car.  Would definitely recommend a full set up at Track Developments before taking on track to dial out as much twitchiness as possible and get the best handling possible.

Sumov8

Very nice installation, with respect to the exhaust have you any recommendations for Longlife as I will be looking for a complete system for my Pilgrim
as the original manifolds constantly crack and the baffles are long gone!!

I've not used long life before but they come highly recommended by others who have

The old Longlife is good, the new is very poor sometimes. There apparently are 2 Longlifes near each other.?

Be specific as they fooked a repair up for me once.

If the guy who runs it is American... RUN A MILE as he took over and doesn't know his ass end from his elbow.
