Has anyone got or know someone who may have, an overdrive gearbox from a 1500 Spitfire, just lying around gathering dust? Annas car with just the old 4speed box is fun to drive but once she gets to around 55mph the engine is doing silly revs for a long drive (like a classic Mini would). I have a saved search going on Ebay but all asking lot of dosh..
