Tiger super 6. Help with seatbelts

Hi. My kit car is at the stage where is needs testing before road launch. Was thinking a trial mot first. Is that a good idea.

Also the race harness wouldn't fit they left too much of a gap. Then bought seat belts that are too big. What did any of you do or could anyone suggest an option with the  seatbelts.

To much gap!!!! Pop up a photo if you can so we can see the problem.
For the MOT im sure it will pass no matter what type of belts are fitted.. Could be wrong though..
