What Master Cylinder?

I have a Ford Sierra Servo and master cylinder on my Cobra, as it is aging now I wish to replace it, but I recall reading a reply from someone in a posting about brakes to use the Ford Fiesta unit, does anyone know why, what model, will it fit directly onto the Servo?

Later I intend to go to Willwood Calipers so I would like something compatible with these, any ideas??

The swap form Sierra to Fiesta M/C is normally done on non servo systems. The Fiesta Mk1 1.1 M/C has a smaller bore, so is said to give better pedal feel, which requires less pressure at the expense of more pedal travel.

I'm thinking of changing mine later this year, as although I can lock the fronts with slicks on, there is very little feel and it needs one hell of a shove to do it. If your existing setup works, why change it, and if you upgrade to Wilwoods, as I did, you can spec different piston sizes to suit what you've got. ;)
