At last my DAX goes in to the garage.

Finally my DAX is in the garage being painted.

These are photos of the 1st coat of polyester filler/primer going on, and then it is going to be flattened with 360 grit wet/dry.  This will be done 3 times.

Then 3 coats of primer, then 3 coats of top coat and finally lacquered.

Can't wait.

You should have got my son to spray it....he's just bought a body shop  (Reef paintshop),  specialising in customised paint finishes.....candy flips, airbrushing, metal flake etc...

He said he would do "special rates for club members" ......see web site.

Look likes its coming on great.   If its as good as the red one I wouldn't be disappointed! ;)

Tony, just had a look a the website, some pretty ipressive work. I wish I had that sort of talent. Wonder what he'd charge me for a simple 2-colour paintjob if I ever finish the Locost? (sorry for the hijack Mark :) )
