Title: 215/60 R15 V96 Yokohama tyres
Post by: Dixie on 29, September, 2014, 09:35:28 PM

I have just been given a brand new set of Yokohama tyres on the front of the Dax. These replace the 235/60 R15 Cooper Cobra's that are on at the moment, the MOT man said they were just on the limit. Plus at 235 wide the car was a bit over tyred.

Question, are Yoko's any good?

Mark

I use toyo proxy 888's which are really really good. but on your car I would say you would be pleased with them for a while but I think they might be a bit soft on a heavier car. You may wear them out really quick as I know some guys that use them on saloon cars & moan about how they don't last that long.

Thanks Colin.  I guess at doing 2500 miles per yr, if they last 3 x years thats good enough.

Plus they are going on the front, so might last a bit longer.
