Amazing video of F1 car in Texas.

This is a great promo video of David Coulthard driving a Red Bull F1 car around Texas to promote the Austin GP next year.  Heavens knows what it did to the car.  It's the first time I've seen rally driving/off roading in a F1 car.

Must be a fake ! I can't believe that they would use a top spec formula one car to make a film like that. I reckon it's a close copy, the real car would be undriveable in those conditions, plus the cost of replacing the entire car !

I noticed the dirt roads/track where all well graded, the dirt roads around here are all washboard and rain rutted, would tear that car apart.  It was not much worse conditions than a rain race.  I'm sure it was not the top spec Red Bull car, F1 teams have several show/demonstration cars that use prototype or used parts.  Lot of fun though, perhaps they should run on dirt, more sense than Bernie's idea of wetting down the track!
