Sounds prettty good, I don't think the bike gets much better than that ;D  At one time I had a Suzuki SP 600 dual sport, a Yamaha Vision and a Daihatsu Charade, the all got about 50 MPG (US).  The bikes had more performance than the Charade but still pretty silly numbers!

Mark G

Yep, I normally get over 30 in mine however I drive it.  Best I've had was 37mpg and that was motorway miles.

you could always try rallying down hill, out of cog of course , or even fit larger wheels and tyres - that should get the MPG up a bit -  :D ;D

My Pinto does around 35mph if i drive steady, but soon as i rant it and the 2nd choke comes in it drops drastically to about 25mph.     I probably average out at about 30mph.

I'm lucky if I get 20mpg ....

Driving over to the Spire Owners Club track day at Silverstone (Friday), I got 25mpg.  It was half that on the track!!!  That said, I was only overtaken by a Chevron Costworth Turbo powered race car on slicks.

PS: Marlboro Car ran faultlessly (there, back and on-track).  Finally - I might be getting there.

WALNUT

havent a clue. I just fill up as needed, but I think Its pretty good, It should be Its only a 1500 eng.

Tony

YellaBelly

That's not very quick at all Tony! But what do you get mpg? ;) :)

Denzle

From my 2.0 Pinto about 28 to 30.   It depends if the missus is in the car or not.    With her along side me I seem to get more to the gallon.   I wonder why.?

WALNUT

LOL . YellaBelly. If my car was any slower Id have to drive on the pavement.

Tony

Tony ( Wallnut ),

Yellabelly was replying to Tony - paintman's posting.

WALNUT

Ahh. Now that makes a bit more sence. Got it wrong again lol

There are many meaning for "LOL"
- Lots Of Laughs
- Laugh out load
- Lost of LOVE

WALNUT

Well, Iv laughed out loud and Iv had lots of laughs, but Iv never been lost in love, so you can take your pick from the first 2 LOL

Tony

Nice one Adrian :)

I guesstimate about 25-35mpg

gingerpaul

About 27mpg at about 75mph on the motorway. Well into the teens when on a decent b road!

YZFMINI...... Being a manly sort of person "Lot of Love" is almost as bad....
