The club and who's who..

Hi folks,

Just a small post to keep everybody updated on the club and who's who, and who's doing what within the club.

The club...

As you probably know, we have had to take the step to go 'Official' due to the club requiring public liability insurance. The sensible thing was to set up a small committee so we could put this in place. Not only that but this allowed me to delegate some of the tasks that quite frankly I was finding difficult to time manage.

It also allows for you kind people to make voluntary annual donations of £10 to the club in order to fund such things as insurance and equipment (A big thanks to those that have already contributed) The BKCC is non profit making with all funds going directly to support the club.

Members who have made donations are listed as 'Club Supporters', and have £10 notes in their profiles - It is only these members who can make the most of discounted services and events organised by the club. We are working on insurance, membership cards and discount banners and club bank account as we speak. Just PM me if you'd like further info in the interim.

The committee...

Me 'The Gaffer' Chairman. I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, website and forum. I am the contact point if there are any problems. I also oversee and assist in events and tasks carried out by club members and the committee.

KrazyKen. Ken is the BKCC secretary and motor sports / club discounts expert. Ken looks after the admin side of the club and negotiates discounts for us. He also keeps us up to date on track days and motor sports events.

Dave Bence is the club treasurer; he will be looking after the clubs financial affairs as well as distributing 'Club Supporter' membership cards and assisting with event co-ordination when time permits.

Events co-ordinators

Bulldog Bri has kindly stepped back in to help us organise some events this season, as has Casino, who will organise one or two events this year.

Anyone is welcome to help in this respect and if you have an idea for the club then please feel free to co-ordinate it your self. Help will always be at hand.

And finally.

The club is nearly 2 years old now and I'm very pleased how it has grown. I've had some great memerable times with you and I'd just like to thank you all once more for making the club the success it is today.
