Website Update

Ok folks, as you can see, back by popular demand, the website is now pretty much as it was when the club first began almost 2 years ago. It's not quite finished yet but enough to make it live. For those that dont recognise it, the dark site theme was active for about a year and a half before platform software was updated and the site was not compatable anymore. Security was also an issue so sadly it had to be pulled.

So, as you patient people are no doubt waiting for the next visual shock and thinking 'What is that guy going to do to our website next '.....

This is it, except, this time you have a choice as to how you view the site, dark or light . (White text now on dark theme)

This feature is only available to signed on members and all you have to do is look at the top right box maked 'Choose Your Site Theme' and use the drop down menu to select either the SMF Default Theme (Current Bright one) Or Extreme6 Final (The Dark one) and click change below. The Forum default is Extreme6 Final. Give both themes a try before you permenantly change. (This can always be undone)

Bottom line, this should resolve a few vision issues and the site will remain like this for the forseeable future. There may be a few small tweeks and upgrades from time to time, with a small amount of disruption but thats typical of any site.

PS....Must throw these contact lenses away, forgot to take em out..  Only supposed to be in for one day....lol....

That's interesting, personally I find the darker theme soooooo much easier on my eye's.

So much depends on our eyesight, monitors and settings though I guess.

I'm interested to see what others prefer.
