Title: Inter-club meet
Post by: Richard on 22, June, 2009, 10:04:51 AM
Why not in awhile plan an inter-club meet / drive-out / meet ?

e.g. Meet in Cheddar Gorge with Apple County or Monmouth with South Wales Club or venture to banks of Severn with those Gloucester kits. Not sure of next club eastwards.

May take a bit more organising but as we get more organised it may make for a bigger meet.

We must have a few "touristy" places in the area for a good venue. Bishops Palace would make a cracking one as an event location, if organisable as some good cause.

Just passing the thought on

I was thinking the very same, but thought maybe give it a few meets first to establish rough numbers.

Maybe we could contact the clubs, what do you think Brian?

Yeah, I like the idea very much. Not heard of that ever going on before and would be a supurb way of meeting up wih other enthusiasts to.

I think it would give a bit of purpose to some meets and may encourage both clubs involved to turn out a bit more and see a greater variety of cars.

Brian, I will pass Apple County club webmaster details to you later.

They are a freindly bunch and may be up for a joint meet.
