The Bristol Kit Car Club is pleased to promote the Mountain Madness Trophy event organised by our member Martin Lewis.



Around 400 kilometres a day, thundering through the hills, valleys, mountains and gorges, navigating your way to various control points.

The route between passage controls is up to you, but the controls are set out to lead you through some fantastic and stunning scenery and are the best driving roads in the region.



From deep gorges to high 'Col' passes. From open plateau, to  dense forest, at times the route will be tight, twisty, steep and extreme!! There is an overall time element to each days stage, but the emphasis is in successfully passing through as many of the passage controls as possible, (so you can't afford to hang around).

The event is open to any motorised vehicle!! Cars, vans, 4x4's, kit cars, sports cars, classics and even motorbikes.

Crews must be in Limoges on the evening of Sunday 5th September at the Bienvenue Hotel at 19:30 hrs for the Event Briefing. From Limoges to Le Puy en Velay participants will navigate their way through one of the beautiful mountainous regions of France. The Cirque de Navacelles and largest cable stayed sky bridge in Europe are just two of the magnificent points of interest during the event.



Traveling through the designated towns and villages the participants must make their way to the final time control of the day at the nights hotel. Vehicles leave each morning at 1 minute intervals from the hotel's Main Time Control. How they plan their route is for them to decide, but failure to pass through one of the checkpoints will loose valuable points.

First nights stop over is Brive la Gaillarde. Second nights stop is Rodez. Day three is at Mende before the finish and fourth night in Le Puy en Velay where we will hold the Event Celebration dinner and prize giving.

(This does not include the price of ferry or hotels. A special hotel rate will be available at each of the Event designated Hotels)
