Title: Speedo cables
Post by: fletch_306 on 11, May, 2014, 09:01:56 PM
Right I need help.

Anyone know where to get shortened speedo cables mine is so long and ungainly that it has to take a weaving route to the gauge and doesn't read correctly and is a bit jumpy.

It's going from a type 9 gearbox to an etb mechanical speedo.

Thanks
Fletch

How long is your cable? I have a type 9 and etb gauge but could do with a longer cable.
I route mine through the tunnel wall, across the footwell and up under the dash to avoid using an angle drive

these people make cables, you could try them

I will measure it tomorrow but it comes out the tunnel across the footwell, back towards the tunnel and straight up to the gauge.
