Title: New from Chippenham
Post by: Gary RH7 on 13, May, 2015, 01:35:19 PM
Hi All,
Thought I better introduce myself after a few months in the club.

I have a Robin Hood 7, one of the first, based on a Dolomite 1850. I built it over 20 years ago but not used it much. I have had to do quite a but of work on it lately so it is more drivable.
I have got a larger windscreen made by The Great British Sports Car Company, bucket seats out and a bench seat put in by South West Auto Trimmers, (I can now see through the screen rather than over it) rear suspension raised with new springs, wheel alignment adjustment so it stays in a straight line (thanks Camber Dave) and now I am making a set of side screens to add even more comfort.

Top pic as the car is now.
Bottom pic was as the car was fairly new on the road.

I am a bit of a fair weather driver as I have no top and if I did I wouldn't be able to limbo under it at my age anyway.

Some of you might remember me at Allington Farm last year when you generously let me join the line. I joined the club shortly after.

Hope to see some of you at the farm again this year and at Castle Combe in June 20th.

Gary

Lovely car Gary,

Hopefully we can give you many reasons to get out more and enjoy it.

If it lacks driveability Camber Dave will fix it for you - he's the guru.

Regards
Ian
