Coming back from the morning dog walk and saw a tidy looking black VW golf with a yellow sticker on the screen. It was a council destruction notice. The car has been there for weeks and must have run out of tax or Mot. Reg is DX52 YUR and looks tidy and well looked after. Just goes to show we are all being watched  :o

MOT on that car ran out on March 10th. It had done 133,142 miles at last MOT at 11th March 2015. It had also been off the road from October 7th 2014 until 11th March 2015. It had only done 4,000 miles from July 2013 to March 2015. At it's last MOT it passed after failing earlier on Anti-lock braking system warning lamp indicates an ABS fault, Nearside Rear Brake pad(s) less than 1.5 mm thick.

Could be an abandoned 'pool' car maybe?

Strip it out, put in a full roll cage, 2.9cc Corrado engine with a super-charger and you got a quick track car!! :P
