The car looks great Phil, what is it you dont like? Is it a paint match issue? Scoop shape?

If it were me I might consider putting some decals on it for a finishing touch, not everyones cup of tea though

Looks fine in a pic to me, need to look at in flesh to really decide but can't see an issue to worry about though.

You've been working to close to it to see it as a whole, have a look in the morning and I'm sure you'll like it more.

It's a 2.0 VX lump on TBs, with a live axle a de dion is about 30kgs heavier and i'm paranoid about weight.

I agree with you about the weight, 'add lightness' is a good principle!  Surprised to hear that the De Dion is so much heavier.
