Title: Bristol American/Classic/Custom Car&Bike Show Sunday 28th June in Yate
Post by: Facial Hair Optional on 09, June, 2015, 10:17:03 AM
I am not connected to this in any way, just had a leaflet thru the door and thought I'd let people know in case anyone wants something else car orientated to do that day.

It says American /Classic /Custom /Bikes, so all sorts should be there.

Raffle /Trade Stands /Bar /Food /Hotshots Roadshow etc

At Yate Town Football Club, Lodge Rd, Yate, BS37 7LE.

10am to 4pm.

It's in its 23rd year so well is established and therefore I would imagine a good turn out.

Admission is £3.00 and accompanied children are free.

Vehicle entries if you want to show and try and win a trophy, £5.00 for cars, £3.00 for bikes.

Enquiries 0117 957 3191 or email angelacadillac@hotmail.co.uk

It's in aid of special needs children in the Bristol area.  :)

I'm amazed anyone would choose Glastonbury weekend for a weather sensitive event - the festival almost guarantees rain!

Just repeating the original post so everyone gets the full gist. This is not a BKCC meet, it's just info on what sounds like a nice day out for anyone who has some free time and is interested in cars.

Hopefully see some of you there.

Parking was a little difficult and the road gridlocked at one point. Drizzled very slightly. Some great vehicles, never seen so many mustangs, or PT cruisers!!!
Never been before, about 50 cars i guess. We enjoyed it andi fell in love.... With a flat bed

Update; As we arrived early and only spent about 2 hours there cars were still arriving as we left, so my previous figure was rather low.
Final count for would appear to have been about a 100 show cars. I think a lot held off till late due to the weather.
