Title: Carpet and edge trims

I've cut a big hole in my bonnet for the air filter to stick out of but I'm struggling to find the trim that people use to tidy the cut edge up. Anyone know where I can get this from?

Also I've replaced the carpet in the car but have untidy and unfinished edges and corners.  Anyone know where i can get black piping and edging stuff to tidy it up?

To be honest I don't really know what I'm looking for!
