There is a Robin Hood 2c for sale worth inquiring about. Dont know the price. Look about the eighth down these listing you will see under my name the telephone number. ;)
It looks pretty tidy and sounds like the engine has been upgraded, he is most probably best of viewing and test driving the car as you can never tell from pictures.
I would certainly ask for more pics, unless your friend is in North Yorkshire. Roll bar looks a little out of place to me?.
Kits are not selling well at the mo, so bargains to be had - Not sure this is a bargain.
If it were me I'd look for something with a bit more up to date spec, nothing wrong with a pinto of course but lighter engines like the duratec etc are more easily tunable with greater off the shelf parts available too. (Waits to get shot down in flames by the pinto brigade ;D)
Sounds good to me.....should be quick too, hope its got wet weather gear.
If you can get it for £4750 I recon. that would be a good deal as long as the interior is up together as well.

It looks like someone wanted a Dax Rush here. At first glance it looks tidy for the money
I think to judge any car on a couple of pics is dangerous, when i bought my Westfield i travelled all over the country looking @ so say "The dogs dangly bits"of descriptions by sellers. I finally found what i wanted in Sheffield, to me its the only way, as they say "One mans meat is another mans poison"!!
I'm with The Gaffer you might think of looking @ something with modern running gear, also i'd take into consideration the short MOT a new one should give you a better idea of condition as it should of been inspected by an independent professional especially if you are not to clued up! I would apply that to any vehicle you look at.
I don't mean to put you off, just trying to give you some practical advice, the more questions you ask any seller & view as many pics as possible will help you make your mind up whether its worth travelling a long way to view, but viewing is a must b4 parting with any wonga!! ;D
agreed. I have been very disappointed by cars that looked good in the picture.
