Pageant of transport Weston Super Mare is a free friendly event which is held on the lawns at the seafront in Weston super mare. It's one of those events where you just turn up & park on the lawn. You get all sorts of cars there as well as a few stands. It's the only time you can go to Weston & park on the seafront for free. 8)
We go to this one every year & we normally head there in convoy about 9.30am starting off at Lockside Cafe, 1 Brunel Lock Road, Bristol,Avon BS1 6XS then meeting up with some other guys on the way at The Rising Sun, 91 West Town Road
Backwell, Avon BS48 3BH.
You can off course just meet us there as well but there is no club parking there so the best way to park up together is to arrive together.
So who is up for this then & which day can you do? :)
For those curious about the dates.... they are Sat 4th - Sun 5th Apr 2015 ;D
If the old banger is running properly then I would like to join up with you all. Haven't looked into the problem yet, as I overheated on the way to the square last month and haven't even lifted a spanner as the arrival of a granddaughter has overtaken matters recently. I've got to run a compression test first to try to determine the problem. Just hoping that it's not the head gasket as I believe it's a pig of a job on the Dolly Sprint lump.

I would be interested, this is usually one of the first big events of the years so lots of keen drivers with their shinny cars..... they have said up to a 1000 cars in the past.
I hope to be going to this one, subject to missing the all 3'lers(lol).

Got the Hood's suspension in bits and still waiting for new Coilovers and bits to come.
Missus has also lined me up to relay a new patio.....only had the Slate 6 months, don't know what the hurry is!! ::) ;D

Hi Tony sadly I can't go tomorrow now as I had planned & I think it may only be Sanzomat who is going tomorrow so you could PM him to see what ha is up too. This is a shame since the last time we met was at Llandow. Hope you have a good day as it was good there today & very busy so tomorrow will be even better as the weather is set to be hotter. :)
Or you guys can go to where we met up today & just go from there & hopefully you may get some more turn up. :D
