I clocked up 2500 miles, due to satnav not working and making a few wrong guesses. Took less than a week in the Transit + trailer so not bad really. Gas system didn't work at all, so a bit pricey fuel wise. Booked it in for a fix that entailed a complete front system replacement at a gas specialist garage in Bulgaria. 300 quid and a day and a half later it's running ok and a lot cheaper now.

Met up with a local kit enthusiast called Uncle Bulgaria!  ;D ;D. No not really his name is Peter. He has 2 Robin Hoods and another at chassis stage, but much wider than a seven so will have to wait and see what it becomes. Interestingly he has been making ' gull wing ' doors for one of them. They are hinged at the top at the moment but said he intends to change it  to open almost ' Lambo ' style. So will wait and see. He's currently fixing a rear end shunt on the other RH7, all in all a busy chap.

Well I have done the dirty deed and bought a house in Bulgaria! Not exactly the 'ponderosa' but big enough for me. 1 bed bungalow in 1840 sq metre garden, 2 garages, end on end which will knock though into 1. A couple more outbuildings to renovate. 1 hour from Greece, Turkey and the Black sea coast. House has been renovated, air con, roof, kitchen, bathroom, d/g windows and doors, electrics and plumbing. Been here 3 months now and although an initial shock I am getting used to it. Haven't seen a traffic jam at all and really quiet. Have found places to buy steel and motor stuff and they still have scrappers!

Sounds nice. Loving the fact you have 2 garages!!! That's a treat for you. No more working in the  rain on your car :) Feel free to pop up some pics  8)

The outbuildings were formerly used as animal shelters and are pretty run down, so will probably dismantle and re-use the bricks etc for another store or even accommodation, but that's for later. One way or another I will have a workshop, loads of parking, mortgage free, rent free and council tax of 40 gbp p.a. Autogas for the Van is 45p litre, road tax 50 gbp p.a.

I see someone is producing Austin Healey 3000 bodies in f/g to fit MK chassis, might be taking a closer look at that, now I have the space, and sunshine!
