Hi All
It has come the time When I am now putting my mini (My first car) Up for sale.
Iv have had it 9 years. it started of with its original 998cc and has now ended up with another 998cc. All be it Japanese.
I completed the conversion about 3 years ago and it has never let me down.
The engine was purchased from Malcolm at Yorkshire Engine (Highly Recommend) and it is officially registered with the DVLA.
People in the club can Vouch for How well this thing goes..

1989 Mini Racing Flame
Spec

•   1989 mini racing flame, British Racing Green and White Roof
•   Vehicle weight 630kg. (Weight on the 19th May at Track Developments 2013)
•   Standard rear sub frame. Camber only Adjustable. Polyurethane bushed mountings
•   Front sub frame galvanised and solidly mounted.
•   On car adjustable front suspension. Caster, Camber Toe. Polyurethane bushes
•   Gaz adjustable dampers all round
•   Hi-lows adjustable ride heights, and new rubber donuts.
•   Mini fins rear drums. Metro turbo 4pot calliper vented disks and mintex 1144 pads (loads of life left).
•   3 point harnesses
•   Corbeau reclining bucket seats
•   Alpine stereo and 2 x 13cm speakers
•   Fibreglass removable front end
•   Revolution 12x5.5 alloys Yoko a539 tyres.(Loads of life left)
•   Internal car heater retained.(is very warm in winter as engine heats up quicker than normal mini engine)


Engine

•   2003 injection Yamaha R1 engine 998cc. Officially registered to car with DVLA
•   6 speed sequential standard gear box
•   Barnet clutch conversion
•            Stainless steel exhaust manifold
•   Dynojet power commander 3 usb mapped
•   Very economical on fuel.
•   0-60 under 6 seconds
•   0-58mph in first gear.  70mph at 6000 rpm in 6th    Redline 11750rpm
•   Manual fan over ride
•   Fuel swirl pot
•   X2 fuel pumps 1 standard bike unit in swirl pot, and second one to fill swirl pot.
•   Remote mounted oil filter.
•   Standard bike air filter box. BMC race filter.
•   Twin silencer exhaust. Is under the 100db limit for track days.
•   Chain driven mini crosspin diff submersed in oil. Tensioned by shims under diff bearing blocks.
•   R1 clocks and Speedo healer (easy recalibration if changes made to sprockets or wheels) also top speed recall, good for track days.
•   Gear indicator.(yellow self-brighten adjusts to light level)
•   3 years of running with no problems. 3000 miles.

this is one very quick and well sorted mini which has had a lot of time and effort put into it

certainly gets my full attention as a passenger at the Combe

someone is gunna end up with a bargain, if only I was 4 stone lighter !!  :)
