Well finally I saw the light and have given up on Fiat's.. Mainly due to mine failing its early MOT. Was not worth putting £300+ into it..
So whilst the wife's been on holiday in the States ( :D ;D :D) I thought I would treat my-self to a BMW..
She will find out tomorrow when I pick her up from Heathrow  :)
Not sure how I ended up buying it cause I wanted a CLK..
Any way deal's been done and car is in my hands so no turning back. Fingers crossed the cam-chain don't let go  :o Been told that BMW will replace the engine if its under 100K and has FULL BMWSH which it does.

Aww come on. You've got the sticker on the back of the car already, But the wheels are still all the same colour.

:D I did try to take the wheels off yesterday!! These cars have no jack!! Its an extra  :o
So out came the trolley jack :( Wont fit under the car  :D :D
Did manage to get the rear end up but wheel was NOT coming off.
So Bri I may need help as to what colour I should do them  ;D :D ;D

Right, so when are you getting it re-mapped or a tuning box fitted?? ;D

fullpint

Remap!! May be but not just yet Phil.

Car was great going to Heathrow today. Returned a very good 67.5mpg.. And road tax for a year was a mere £20

So, you haven't said what ' her indoors' thought of the new motor :-X ?

Great choice of brand. Im a bmw man through and through (except for those fake minis they make). Im sure you will love it, plus they have great build quality.

A good tip for getting the wheels loose without pulling at them like an ape whilst it is on the trolley jackb is to slacken off the nuts slightly and roll the car back and forth or drive round the block. This will free them up, but dont undo the nuts much and take it slowly!! I had to do this on mine amd it worked a treat. Also, apply copper grease to the two mating surfaces of the wheel and hub before putting the wheel back on and it wont happen again.
