Only goes to show that many sellers on ebay claiming 0 to 60 times of about 3 seconds with only 300-350 bhp/tonne are.... let's be kind and say.... wrong, misguided, thinking wishfully etc etc???

I realise there are other factors besides pure power to weight ratio but this car seems IMMENSE compare to most I've seen and has all the kit to get the power down and change gear fast etc. 850bhp/tonne!!!!!!!!!! Mental  8)

32K is a lot of money...

It is but... I have been speaking to him and I know what he'll take for it. Still a lot but quite a bit less than 32k and when you hear what it has on it and what it can do on a track, it's amazing. I have seen a vid on youtube of it's sister car which was running 'only'(!) 400 bhp and it passes eveything including ariel atoms, GT3s etc. The vid almost looks speeded up he is passing stuff so fast!!

It's got launch control to 60mph, anti lag, paddle flat shift sequential gear change as well as normal sequential via gearstick, adjustable power output.. 3 settings, 330, 450 and 505bhp!

I also see that someone from over the bridge and known to some club members (crazy ken? and someone else who have been in it) is selling his ASBO 2. Seems very quick too and a lot less ££££

The Cossie's sister car at (only) 400bhp!

That boy can drive that thing!!! A must watch video for you track guys I would say!!  :o

paintman

That car is mental!!!!! and a handful!!!! :o

Hell of a good driver as well....god knows how he kept it on the track.

To drive it on the road would be madness. ::)  but fun. :P

The Stig's little brother maybe!!!

Heroic stuff, braver than me I have to say!

Fantastic specification.  That white one looks astonishingly quick.  It looks like a proper handful in the corners though.  The challenges of a heavily turbocharged lightweight car, I guess.

I think he has been trying to sell this car for quite a while.

I'm just delighted that people have the balls (and cash) to build stuff like this.  8) :D

If money is no object, which IIRC, was for the two guy's who developed the cars together, then why not? Everyone is different and most sane people who say £32k is too much for a 7 type car and yet Caterham sell them day in and out at this sort of money.

In the same way as I spend too much on a watch, each to their own. Would I like to own it no, for that money you could buy a road going radical which would be as quick and probably more reliable.

I think it is great we still have people who want the best and will spend to get it and he will find someone who will pay £25-30k for it. They could then take it to any track and monster probably everything from Porsche and Ferrari.

'The Gaffer'

Wow!! That car is a rocket ship.

I've watched that video bout 6 times now and it's just as good as the 1st time I saw it! I am guessing he didnt have slicks on though?

He can defo drive that thing, makes me think of the Stig or Tiff Needell. Those saloons and even the Porsche etc look like they are stood still!

His passenger must be darned brave!!

If you watch this again, this time keep an eye on his drivers side wing mirror, it's fun to see those he overtakes just disappear into the distance as he goes by them!!!!!!  8) 8) 8)
