Suggestions for the year at Feb meeting ?

Folks,

Just in and having a coffee before embarking on next task and thought I'd post this thought.

Just wondering if perhaps a little organisation for the Feb meet might pay dividends later in the year.
Perhaps we should gather suggestions for then and try and plan a little ahead ?
Not really looking to burden anyone.

A few items to get you started [the idea here is you can post your own or bring them up at the next meet].

Think we should get some firm plans for Stoneleigh in place at least.

Then perhaps some scouting for places to have double meet/runs to in each direction away from Bristol.

Organise runs/ meets to visit our neighbours, we've got a few clubs within a fun run away.

Shared airfield meets with other clubs.

sure you have others.

Sounds good Richard. Certainly up for planning for Stoneleigh, that's my target for getting the seven on the road (I'm gonna have to pull the stops out though  :o).

Like the sound of visiting our neighbour clubs too.

Hi Rich.

We have an offer from my wife's uncle for a trip to the Ilse of Wight.  He belongs to Classic car club that meet each Sunday.  He has a Austin A7.

Just a thought.

Isle of Wight would be cool, my folks used to run a club in Shanklin when I was (much) younger, be good to see the place again, especially in the locost :D

Love to IOW, can get a friend to sail me over if I crew, bit of a racing nut on water but built a Dutton years ago.

Hope to get own car done though, either way happy to join in that !

Looking forward to Stoneleigh as normal.

Will post up plans nearer the date...  ;D

Hoping to make a convoy of cars to travel up to the show. Personally I will be camping as norm' over, going up Sunday returning Monday. (Just hoping warmer than last year)

How about a run to Castle Coombe it's Performance Car Action Day 24th April most of us should be back on the road by then and normally a good day out for not a lot of money

Think we agreed to get a group together (Jan. 12th posting) nearer the time, but we will have to buy tickets in advance.
