The restoration is coming along nicely thanks to sumov8 who has spent so much time rewirering the whole car from scratch, and spending a many a saturday cold wet and windy conditions outside helping on the project, over come a major engine oil way blockage. I now have the car in a rented garage.
Hope to have it on the road soon to do some trials before a trip to the classic Lemans....Looking forward to a few meets soon.

Le mans... Just a short trip then to check things out  :D Hope it goes well for you and hopefully with that roof fitted it will keep the rain away now ;)

Grin-a-lot

Good luck with Le Mans, I work not far from the Portsmouth ferry and seeing some of the lovely cars turning up at the ferry port has brought a bit of the green eyed monster out in me!

Maybe on the to-do list for next time..!

When i arrived back from Le mans i had a slight issue with the speedo cable snapping, have purchased a new one to find the speedo has seized solid in the dash display.. purchased one on e bay but wrong case size (ford prefect).. by chance would anyone have a mk1 escort speedo display on the top shelf in the garage they want to sell  :)

 8) All that way and only a cable/speedo broke.. Thats a credit to the build. So kit-cars can be reliable..
Any pic's? ;)
