Great Day At The Morgan Factory.

Just to say,

What a fantastic day me and the missus had at the Morgan Factory to-day.

Also meeting up with (The Gaffer)      and a few of the clubs members. Im pretty sure they had a great day also.   
To see how them cars are hand built was something.  I didnt think for one instance that so much hand work and shaping was done, and to see the ash wooden frames completed from pre hand formed timbers was facinating.   Not a welder nor grinder to be seen. 

I have lots of pictures and when possible will post some on the forum for all to see.

All I can add is to those that missed it, you will have to arrange for another time.  It is well worth it to see these cars and how they are put together by the family of happy workers.

The history of the factory was beyond belief,  to see traditional metal working in action was a sight to behold, well worth the trip and very freindly staff were more than willing to explain their tasks in producing a series of very nice cars.

Dixie and myself checked out the works canteen......massive breakfast, couldn't eat it all! (Had to leave 2 of the sausages!!)

Even Santa would have struggled to eat 2 of them.
