Called in at my son's bodyshop on the weekend and was greeted with this beaut. outside, never seen one before......have you??









Yes it's a lotus 340R  (minus the front splitter)...............nice.

   They put out 190 bhp as standard but this one is all "cammed up"........ my son said it struggled to tick over it was so lumpy.

    I see they were £35,000 when they came out as a limited production, weighing in at 600kg.....should be pretty quick.

Nice - I like the 340R a lot!

Apparently very few originally made the claimed 190bhp but K-series tuning has come on a lot since then so it is perfectly possible to do.

Have held their value very well indeed too.

The 190BHP was the claimed output of the VHPD K-Series engine, because of poor tolerance control on the engines very few actually made the stated output.  A quick visit to DVA Power can solve all that and give a reliable 200+ BHP with enough £££'s thrown at it.
