You're nervous !!!!  Spent over 2 1/2 years building to the best of my ability only to possibly have someone I've never met before pull it apart in 8 hours .

O.K. We servived the IVA however, not quite there yet failed on one item only which is a lot better than it could have been. Went down on the steering wheel boss not being collapsable. Question Does anyone have a complete Sierra steering wheel i could beg, steal or borrow till next week? If I can get hold of one qick i can get it in for retest on Friday.

Wow they are fussy on that IVA stuff.. Still good that it only failed on the one thing. Does this mean a re-test takes a few weeks to book or do they just fit you in at short notice just to check the failed item?

Not too sure but Tony the examiner said they weren't too busy Friday so they could fit it in, would only take 10 mins to check and wouldn't even need to take it off the trailer.

I have got a sierra steering but the horn push centre bit is no with it be some where in the garage you are welcome to have it

Should have taken most of the day but as the examiner had 1/2 day holiday booked we had to get it  all done before midday, which was fine for me and yes he was a nice man, none of this Hell Fire and Brimstone stuff!!!.

Stupott, If you can find the horn push I will even have your babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a complete height adjustable upper column with steering lock but no key.
normal sierra wheel fitted.
Yours to collect.
I will drill out the shearbolts in the lock in the morning

Thanks to everyone that has offered a me a wheel, I have found one on Fleabay for just over a tenner, waiting for it to arrive as we speak. Nothing is going to happen for a couple of weeks as I am away, keep hold of them cos if all else fails I may still be in the market.
