As a lot of you know, the seats in my car are pretty shabby to put it lightly. Well I've finally got a new set to go in. picked up for me while we were at Castle Combe by a friend from work. They are from a Ford Puma, and for £25 for the full set, not half bad.
These were the old ones, a bit passed their prime  :o

Here are the new ones. I've taken off one set of legs to lower down as much as poss, just the other to do.  ;)

Just need to bolt them in now. But work gets in the way of fun again.  :'(

About time to Bri  ;D ;D ;D ;D
If you don't have time to fit em yet pop them in the living room and use them to watch tv. That way you can get them moulded to suit your sitting position ready for going into the Bulldog.. :D

Moleman

Just a slight improvement then.  ;D
How did you get on with the M.O.T today?

Bulldog Bri

MoT was postponed till tomorrow. They forgot to write it in the book!  >:(

Seats should look a lot better Bri. Good luck with MOT.

Bri, try chewing gum from now on. Tastier than seats! ;D

Bulldog Bri

Had a go at fitting one of the seats on Thursday, unfortunately it was to tall even after taking the legs off (in the pic) so I then removed the seat pad out and shaved about 2" out from underneath, this has almost put me down to the right height but the back is still to thick and wide, I can't push the seat any further back. So I'm now just looking to refurbish the old seats.  :-[

MoT failed on the rear brakes... 100% on 1 side 7% on the other. Lol. new brake shoes and it's still not the best, now trying different drums :o also a cylinder has started to leak >:(

Thats a shame Bri. Someone I know from work used to refurbish furniture, including car seats. I can ask for you if you like?  :)

Thanks, but I'm going to have a go myself. I did a reasonable job of the Locost seats.

Auction ended by the time I looked. I'm recovering the old ones now anyway.  ;D

MoT PASSED. Had to replace a wheel cylinder on the N/S rear. So, job done and another certificate issued for another years driving. Yay.  :P
