Here's some strange news for all you petrol heads out there. Eight vintage Corvettes swallowed by 40-foot sinkhole inside National Corvette Museum.

Wow, could have been worse though. I mean they didn't fall far and are probably all repairable. They were all probably in pristine condition and I doubt there is any shortage of panels ect. Just loads of overtime in the workshop!

Kentucky is infamous for sink-holes.  The ground is a mixture of soil and limestone.  Add a little water and acidity and the rock just dissolves away and collapses.  Some of the biggest have swallowed whole streets and villages.  As usual, the USA does it bigger - the best we could do was swallow a single Corsa!
