Anyone know a good bodyshop????

Hi Guys,

I don't post on here often but really need some local help.
My nice new Audi has been scuffed down the side. My local chips away guy has had a go at it but I am not happy. He has returned my money and suggested I take it to a bodyshop. Such a shame because he has been brilliant in the past. He says it is the paint that is the problem as it is a weird grey/brown with a high level of pearl that he just cant seem to get right.

So.... Can anyone recommend one that can do a great job at a great price??? I do not want to go through the insurance.

Hi Jon. There are a few guys on here that may be able to help. I'm thinking Paintman maybe? or he will know someone.  If you don't get any luck with this I can ask my mate that has a body shop at his garage for you.

Hi Chris. I am based in Saltford.

My son has a body shop.....Reef Paintshop near Trowbridge.   He can help you for sure as he specialises in fancy pearles
and flips.

Before starting out on his own he was in responsible for colour matching and quality control of all the cars being sprayed
at a large modern spray shop......he just done John Taylor's (drummer with Duran, Duran) private car which he sent down from London to get colour matched and sprayed.

He's often doing Hot rods and show cars in fancy paint finishes.
