Decision has been made!

So after all the hassle i have had with the car i have decided to upgrade the engine from the pinto 2.1 to a 2.0 zetec blacktop.
Bought a second hand engine off ebay which i am going to give a good going over to make it good before fitting it.
its going to take a bit of time but soon im going to remove and sell the pinto and the weber 40 carbs fitted to it.

I will keep everyone posted on here as soon as i make any large changes and hopefully with pictures finally now that i have a new camera.

Any hints and tip from people who have carried out a conversion such as this will be greatly welcomed.

Most likely wont be complete until the beginning of next year but fingers crossed it will all go ok!

Good luck with that mate. All I can say is I changed from a Duratec to a more powerful Duratec & the amount of changes I had to do was  quite a lot more than I had first anticipated so be prepared for the cost to rise a bit more than you think it will & that you may have more to do than you think.

It was worth it.  & yes Rach beat me on both Zip wire runs so I think I got both.  I'm glad she is not interested in track days as she might show me up.
