Lucky Ed's 2-wheeled summer experience

Not attempting to compete with Ianciders movie magic here, no fancy editing or music on offer, but the sound of the GSXR's 185 horses let loose in the south of France. It was taken this year on the notorious N85 that runs fro Grenoble to Cannes, a road that is commonly used by car and bike mags for road tests, and you can see why, it's absolutely fantastic. The police are about but on the twistier bits you're probably not breaking the speed limit by too much The tarmac and scenery are sublime and if you ever get the chance to drive it, do it, I'd love to get a kit car on it as you see quite a few Caterhams having fun on it.

If you don't want to waste 15 mins of your life watching it the twisty bit starts at about 3:20, some interesting road building & scenery @ 5:00, and a bum clenching moment @ 7:15 when the front end stepped out and a quick change of direction just after 14:05 to avoid disappearing into the scenery. Perfect road and weather, with the added bonus of steak frites at the bottom - what more could you want

PS Soz about the shaky footage but the camera was mounted up on the mirror, but gave a clearer view than looking through the screen
