Drag strip at Castle Combe..

"With the sale of the Hullavington Airstrip, work to transport the tarmac to the Circuit to build a new infield drag strip will soon begin. Castle Combe site manager Les Rawlings and his team will start work to cut the airfield's tarmac into 5m.sq. sections before moving them to the circuit. "It'll be like one long jigsaw puzzle putting the pieces back together but we know it'll be worth it!"

Now, as 2 Top Fuel dragsters off the line register a 2.3 on the Richter scale and over 90db measured a mile away, I wonder what limitations will be put on the track??

Nice idea, but I think the entertainment could be quite tame compared to a full on NHRA event.

Those white lines look suspiciously perfect to me Gaffer!! (the letters C, G and I spring to mind!!)
