This Sunday Club Meet - 21 Aug

Hi Guys,

I would like to suggest that this months club meet for this Sunday coming is at the Riverside at Saltford ( next to the Marina )

I would like to put forward that we could make it from say 12pm to 2 pm to give every one a chance to attend  and possibly have a blast to somewhere else if anyone want this

anybody game for this or do you all still want an evening one  - as well

Hi Pete,

I can't make your suggested meet on Sunday (change over weekend for grandchildren staying with us) However, I don't know if you can fit this event in with your Sunday Meet.

Paulton Village Hall and sports ground. 10:00 'till 4:00 PM FREE car show. Just turn up. Run by The Norton Radstock Classic Vehicle Club.

Last year over 200 vehicles including about 12 kits and you could get bacon butties and drinks.

no prob, I will get it right one day, didn't know sod all about Shepton show, will prob Cruise down to the Paulton do as a run out if enough members show up  - but dont look that way at the moment

Pete, Shepton show is a mini Bath&West agricultral show, typical Somerset farmers show with cattle, sheep, pigs, falcons etc, plus a small classic car and vintage vehicle show with steam engines etc, and the Wursels playing next to the cider tent. Only 100 yrds from my house, so I can have a few in the afternoon when I take the cob back home.
It's part of Shepton folk lore, can't be missed, although I cant always remember it after a few Pints of Thatchers.

Sadly as you know Pete things are a bit hectic for me right now and getting worse. I will be out of the frame re meets etc for a while.

but the classic car show is at CAMERTON VILLAGE HALL    ( SatNav) BA2 0NL.  ( NOT Paulton as I mentioned earlier ).

May do, car is in pieces at the mo having a tow bar fitted. The fuel tank is out while any welding is done.

My working away has been put back until the 2nd sept but working until 12 that day to get it ready.
So I will prob miss you at saltford but prob catch up later that afternoon at the show if your still there when I get there.

Just a small box trailer. Off to Brittany in a weeks time.
