asn

very nice work peggy its looking so good i can only dream of getting to your stage as always loving the posts

Peggyontherun

@ ASN - Cheers its getting there day by day just getting all the gaps around the door done now so this is time consuming but will be worth it in the end

asn

who is that kit made by, as i thought the kit was made from the original Lamborghini Murcielago and would not need all this remoulding and filling was just really bolted together and a slight bit of sanding and filling but the amount you have done seems a bit to much to be the so called best kit thats made by extreme

Peggyontherun

@ ASN - yip the kit well i got my metal frame off Extreme the kit i bought it from a chap here in Ireland he didnt know what he was doing with the kit and made and arse of the kit i bought the metal frame from extreme and a few other bits whe i bought the stuff they said the kit wasnt theres that it was a splashed kit i didnt know as i was told off the previous owner that it was an extreme kit which i taught it was. As for the extreme kits fitting perfect i far from perfect fitting i know my kit has taken nearly 2 years to complete but it keeps me going every day and something to do as i have redesigned this kit a few times with different pieces so its taken longer, and i had a problem with extreme concerning a windscreen that i paid for and they snubbed me off so i did a bit of research and used a Nissan Maxima windscreen same curve as a lamborghini window and only cost me £50  :D

Peggyontherun

Alot of filling and sanding going on as im gapping the passenger door

The roof scoop sanding and filling

Lots of sanding here

A few low spots so re-fillered

After a few days of sanding i cut the new lines for the doors

Scoop coming along

The lines coming along

Anothe day on it and it will be ready for a skim of fiberglass

asn

hi peggy just been quoted £300 for the   Nissan Maxima windscreen do you know what year and model, :D as when i do a search nothing comes up second hand or even better do you have a link thanks. :D
