Hairy Santa

Hi Guys,

DATE CHANGE: Was previously 28th April.

I have been asked if any of the club members would like to come to the Our Lady of the Lords School top of Courtney Road Kingswood on Sat 26th May as they are having thier Fete and are trying to have a few cars on show for people to look at

It starts at 1 oclock weather permitting and is normally a pretty good afternoons fun, lots of stalls , games, and of course a barby ( why do you think I go)

this is the first year that they have asked for show cars so woud be nice if a few of us could turn up

let me know please

Edit, added to calendar.

Bulldog Bri

Could be there, have a few things to do before but weather permitting could be there about 2.

I could probably make this weekend, I quite like the sound of this event.

I went to secondary school in Countney Road, Kingswood. It was called Woodstock School, not sure if this is the same place.

Kevin

Moleman

I can make it now just weather permitting. I'm gessing we will need to by there by 12.30 before it starts?

Hairy Santa

well thats 4 or 5 of us so far, thanks chaps - the more the merrier  :)

Kev, I think your school is halfway down the hill, this one is right at the top on the right, it has a big grass field that you can see from the road and the entrance is just around the corner in the next road - more important, are you coming ?

anyone else up for this, could be a bit of fun

WALNUT

Sorry Pete, It dont look as though I will be able to make it. still having truble getting gearbox back in. If it wasent for Bri ( Bulldog ) We would still be trying to get it out. LOL

fullpint

Post code would be nice.. Google have given me 3 places with in the street!!

Hairy Santa

Hi Guys

postcode is BS15 8PX

and the entrance to the school field which we will be using is at the top of Courtney Road, dont think you can miss it

from Bristol go through Kingswood High Street till you see Lloyds bank on the corner on  the right
turn right once through the lights stay to the left and go straight on (Hannam Rd) until you see the main entrance to the school on the left
take the next turning  left (Court Rd)
then take the  next left in to the top of (Courtney Rd )
the gate way is then on the left into the school field which you can see from the road ( this is actually right round the back of the school from the main entrance)

hope this helps

Bulldog Bri

Yup. Still planning on being there as well.

As long as my drive shafts hold out I can be there, changed the diff in the week and I am getting funny noises, possibly a knacked CV joint.

12:30 ok?

Not sure how long it goes on for but as long as I leave by about 16:30 ish it should be ok.

Steve :)
