Well, being ever optimistic, I got a quote from FP for the Locost with a view to hoping to get to DVLA on Monday with all my paperwork (God willing).

They quoted me £111.96 Fully Comp with a 3000 mile limit, so not bad I thought?

I found them really good myself. only £40 more than you on a 6000 mile limit. (only do about 3000 normally but i'm doing at least 4 track days this year).

Maybe I ought to up the mileage limit and see what they quote?

I spoke to them about insurance today - I asked about trackday cover and they said they didn't cover that as its competition. I tried to explain but it fell on deaf ears.  Anyone else got insurance inc trackdays as well?

I didn't bother with trackday insurance but I up the mileage as I will be putting the extra miles on while going around the track.
The insurance won't count on the track but the miles will.
